I was always amazed at he long time it took to build casinos. In Las Vegas in the 1990's most casino companies would announce plans for a casino to be completed in 3 years. The only company on the fast track was the Circus Circus/Mandalay Bay people who would finish a casino 18 months from the announcment date. I don't know what they did differently but it sure worked for them. If it is going to take 2 years to get casinos in Ohio it may be due to a lack of an existing casino commission as well as the need to purchase property, etc.

I sure hope it passes since I am within driving distance of Cincinatti.
