I've heard two stories behing this chip. 1. Error Chip 2. Ordered this way to make Bolo Ties for dealers and/or employees. Which is true?
I recently purchased the CO collection from Von and was surprised to find several chips to add to collection. Was not aware that there were SCV and LCV on the Golden Rose, Bullwackers and Rohling Inn.
Also came across this faded Gilpin 2nd Anniversary. Is there a story behind faded chips. Was it a bad batch of blanks or ink that Chipco had as there are several different casino that have faded and non faded chips. Or is it just an exposure to the elements over time?

My "want" list is now under 30 - $1 chips to complete my Colorado collection. Some will probably never be found or afforded, but the hunt continues.......
