I was lucky to get one in a 10 chip lot on ebay. The picture was bad of the chips, and you really couldnt see it was a NTT chip, but it was! I think the lot cost me less than $20 and there where some other great chips in it, castways CIC, hacienda $1, old bourbon st. $1, etc....
I had a old "friend", kind of, who stayed in that neighborhood. He was homeless and would come to my work and wash everyones cars for money. Anyways I sent him home with a $20 bill one weekend and asked him to go in and get me some chips. I saw him on monday, he said he sat in at the poker game, played one hand and then tried to leave with the left over chips. Very quickly the dealer said something to him about cashing the chips in. My friend said na its ok, and tried to leave. I guess another larger gentleman come over and suggested that he cashes in his chips before he left.
Needless to say, I he never got the chips and I never saw my $20 again!
I think that they dont want the chips leaving because then they would have to order new ones. I guess that is kind of obvious!
