HNO and C/W
In Response To: WELCOME! vbg ()

Hiya Eric and welcome aboard! In a few days we might star up the HNO discussion again. there will be some back and forth and posturing by a few fellows but just sit tight and follow along. Even during the most noisy free for alls, there is good education to be had.

HNO = Hughes Nevada Operations.... or maybe not! This myserious set of letters appear on some chips tht were in play when Howard Hughes owned vaarious properties. Some have proscribed the letters to mean Hughes Nevada Operations and others march with drum and fife in another direction. Watch the posts and you will learn.

I use C/W as shorthand for Campiglia and Wells the auhors of the Official US Casino Price Guide
Don't be bashful about asking for clarifications and even, just go ahead and send a email cold to someone you think might have some info you can use. We arn't jargon wonks and aren't into making newbee's feel silly. Be wary of guys that drop the phrase "Dirt is history", they can be silly sometimes.
