Since 1996 garage door openers have rolling code numbers that total in the 100's of millions of possibilities and no pins. Chuck T.
P.S. So that I don't come across as a smartie pants--just today I programmed the garage door remote control built into my new car and I had to use the owners manual for my garage door opener for guidance. That's where the above info came from.
