If we end up 10-2 and good bowl win, ND will have a very good improved season. If we beat USC, and go 9-3 and bowl victory, a good season. Our defence pass protection is the problem, they don't have the talent to play tight, so they give 3-4 yards to receivers. The Defense cord. is the big problem.He called to many Blitz's at the wrong time, CW has ripped him, and we will see improvement. Weis has made a couple mistakes, but overall called a good offensive game's.We have done more screens, play action passes this year than the last 3 yrs. and they are working. The west coast off. worked great, and our running game is best in 2 yrs. Of course Clausen, is just great. Ir's not Weis fault we lost the best wide receiver in the nation, and Allen and Clusen got injured. If they were healthy we would have won big time Sat. Go Irish, they will be OK, we are one play from being undefeated. They are improving, if we get #5 & #7 healthy everything will end up very good, just wait and see.I've watched every game 2 & 3 times, and I'm sure we will be OK. So many ND haters out there, and ESPN, also, just rips us, for TV ratings. 7 or 8 top 25 teams lost last week, and more will happen every week. Just wait only 1 or 2 undeafeated, and 3 or 4 with one loss at season end. Just no easy games for the major players, and every team points for ND. and USC. How would feel if you were a Cal or LSU fan? It' o easy to second guess, and blame the coach. Should they fire Pete C. after loss? no ofcourse not, but some said that. I rest my case.
