Benny Siegel was "retired" in...
In Response To: HELP PLEASE WITH INFO!!!! ()

June of 1947 while in Beverly Hills, supposedly by his Flamingo partners, but who knows for sure. Gus Greenbaum strolled into the Flamingo on that same night and declared he was now in charge. After several years, Gus wanted to get out of the rackets and moved to Arizona. The "boys" wanted him to come back and run the Riviera, Gus resisted. Shortly after his refusal, his sister in law was found dead and not of natural causes. The "boys" asked again and Gus took over the Riv. After a while Gus was out of control with the booze, women and drugs. "Someone" determined that he had become a liability and while on vacation back in Arizona, Gus and his wife Betsy were found at home, with their throats cut. These are two that come to mind off the top of my head.
