At least I find this interesting. Look at the two different chips shown. I'm guessing that the chip with the same design on both sides is a sample chip. Is this correct? What else could it be? Could it be a manufacturing error that was discovered and notched to be used as a sample? I'm aware of only one example of this chip. Has anyone seen any other sample and/or notched Chipcos that are different from the chip(s) actually used in casino play? I know of another one, the $5 Trump Plaza ("Trump's World Fair"), Atlantic City chip.

The other chip, as used in the casino, is a part of the Pirate series. This series consisted of $5, $25, $100 and $500 chips. Many of these chips were sold UNcancelled in the casino's gift shop. These are the only uncancelled MN chips, used in casino play, I am aware of that were sold by the issuing casino's gift shop.
