Club Prevue and Bobby Kennedy

This is research sent to me by a fellow club member. Research is being done to try to put a Club name to a Taylor Co chip sent to Collinsville, IL in 1959. This was after Club Prevue was raided and closed. Buster Wortman was the illegal gaming boss in E St Louis and Collinsville area. One of his other cohorts had bought the same chips delivered in 1959 back in 1955 for The Terrace Lounge.

Wortman was summoned to Kennedys Senate Committee on crime.
Here's a snip from a Senate committee hearing in 1958 which lists some of Wortman's places (the chief counsel Robert Kennedy asks about forty questions and Wortman has one answer):

I love the history of our chips. Without the history they are only little pieces of clay. grin
