Tropicana Las Vegas has filed a lawsuit against its former owners Tropicana Entertainment and Tropicana Casino and Resorts, Inc. and Tropicana Casino and Resort Atlantic City which are now owned by Carl Icahn, Tropicana Las Vegas claims it did not lose the rights to use the Tropicana name when it filed and emerged from bankruptcy, TE & TCR, Inc. and TCR Atlantic City claims that when TLV separated from TE AND TCR that they did lose the right and are looking to charge TLV millions of dollars in licensing fees to use the Tropicana name which TLV refuses to do.
