NCR: MGM Mirage Maybe Forced Out of Atlantic City

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has requested the New Jersey Casino Control Commission to reopen the licensing investigation into whether MGM Mirage which owns a 50% interest in The Borgata (The other 50% is owned by Boyd Gaming) is qualified to hold a gaming license in the State of New Jersey after the DGE released a confidential report to Casino Control Commissioners about MGM Mirage's relationship with casino owner Pansy Ho who co-owns the MGM Grand Macau with MGM Mirage, Ho is the daughter of Hong Kong casino mogul Stanley Ho who has been accused of having alleged ties to Chinese mafia and other criminals.

If the Casino Control Commission rules against MGM Mirage not only will they be forced to sell their interest in The Borgata but plans to build an MGM Grand casino in Atlantic City will also have to be scrapped.
