......this game is a slow game, so if there were no bell, players looking around (mostly female) a good operator could jurk the chuck and show the same dice face or flip them to his liking. The game could also speed up and you could also never see the dice face and loose your bet. If a bell was attached to the chuck then it would signal another turn of the chuck had comminced.
