South Point has my vote for next years convention as well as ANY of our conventions in the future. I rented a suite for three nights and was very impressed with the suite as well as the service. My wife and I ate at Michael's Gourmet Room for two out of the three evenings with the banquet taking up the third evening. I must tell you if you have not or did not eat at Michael's you are missing one of the finest meals you will ever have. The food as well as the service was the best my wife and I have experienced in all the years we have lived in Vegas. Michael's puts the rest of the gourmet rooms at second choice. We plan for future outings to go to Michael's. Yes it is pricey; yes you must dress in business attire and yes you must use your napkin. . We loved it!

Overall, I was impressed with the convention, attendance and facilities.It was GREAT!. The people are always GREAT. It was my pleasure to finally meet Brian Cashman and yes he bought me a beer. I also bought a round for all who happened to be present at the bar. Give it to Neal Silverman.....he had to have an Absolute martini for $10.00. I'll get even next year Neal, you can bet on it!

While sitting with club treasurer Doug Smith, I witnessed two unfortunate incidents that, in my opinion, detracted from this years wonderful convention. I will write about them next week after some time has gone by. Until then, I hope to see all of you next year!
