I had just won an auction, and as I was getting ready to check out asked me if I would like to contribute a dollar to the Serviceman's Pet Fund (or something like that).

It's a fund set up to donate funds for the upkeep of service Men and Womens pets!

I was hospitalized for 6 mo, and I was lucky that I had roomates who looked after my pets. Some of our military folks don't have that option. Many of them have to turn their friends over to shelters, where they may not last.

This offer allows me to help our military folks keep their animal friends.
