I have seen where somebody posted this should be open to all club members and not just Life Members. There is absolutely nothing to stop any member from donating at anytime.

As Doug and a few others know, I had sent emails suggesting a similar idea for Life Members to make a donation. My reason for that was, it is the Life Members who may have a special interest in seeing the Club succeed.

As for listing the names of the donors... I don't see a need for it. However, it will not stop me from donating.

On a side note... I was recently asked by a customer to donate to one of his charities and I donated a very nice light fixture to be auctioned requesting that my name not be included in the program.

Right now the club needs help and I think those who are in a position to offer assistance should.help. I don't believe anyone who cannot should be penalized.

Just recently, I was asked to donate to a cause and declined. I never heard about it again. Then again there were projects I stepped right up and offered to donate.

Everyone should be allowed to pick and choose their causes.
