Just in case you didn't know it, most airlines will allow you to modify your reservations without charges IF THEY have made changes to your existing plans. I booked early to get a great rate but had horrible connections. Yesterday American changed the flight numbers and my connections actually improved (I would leave later and get in earlier). Despite this positive change they still let me rebook both flights. Now instead of getting in at 5:30 PM we get in at noon. And on the way back our 2 hour plane change is now just an hour. Like casino comps - if you don't ask you don't get!
