in their poker room-- I would presume for 20-40 and 40-80 games and the like. During the height of the poker craze, a handful of casinos issued $20 chips for their higher-limit action (either to accommodate it, or perhaps to encourage it), although I think many of them failed to achieve the consistent action that merited their continued use. I'm know Bellagio and the Wynn still have games that consistently use them, but I'm not sure about The Venetian and MGM Grand. Golden Nugget has theirs locked in the vault, and I would imagine Palace Station to be the same.

As you point out, $20 used to be more commonly associated with Baccarat (because the 5% commission on winning 'bank' bets is easier to calculate), although there probably aren't many games nowadays that would take bets that small. grin There are still a few casinos that have lower denomination baccarat chips, but many casinos will only have baccarat chips in denominations of $100 and greater.
