Extra! Large Washington State Chip "Find" Extra!

So I posted about a "find" I aquired a few days ago. It turns out to be a pretty cool lot of chips from Washington State. Here is down and dirty.

Unfortunately these are the best of the lot. The Grove $.50's are pretty much all like the chip above, but the others vary greatly. The Petosa pictured above is one of only two that had any hotstamp on it. The Sparky's Bar and Grill is not in Steve Goodrich's book but it matches the description of the $1 close enough for me to be comfortable with calling it from the Washington cardroom. Also Goodrich's book just lists it as "Sparky's" but the full name of the establishment was named "Sparkys Bar and Grill" located at the same address that Goodrich quotes.

Anyway here are some more picks of the chips...

The whole eBay purchase:

The red chips at the top of the picture are the "SCR" (Sonny's Card Room) $1 chip. There are about 145 of those. Most of these have no hotstamp remaining but the hotstamp impression is clear.

The Yellow chips right below that are the Grove $.50 chips. There are around 340 of these and are all in decent shape (the one in the top scan was picked at random). Here is another.

Bottom Row from Left to Right:

The black chips are from John Petosa's Resturaunt. Only two of the 40+ had the hotstamp intact but as you can tell here there is no doubt where they are from.

The yellow chips with white edgespots are the $5 from Sonny's Card Room (SCR). These are some of the better chips in the lot and there are around 45 of them.

The solid yellow chips are a Paulson chip with the initial "J.P.". It is probably wishful thinking but as all of the other chips in the box were from known Washington cardrooms I don't think it is out of the realm of possibility that these are another rack from John Petosa. I am looking into this but for now it is a UFC afaik. About 30 of these.

The red chips in the bottom row are from "Eddie's Diner". There are about 80 of these and some of them are garbage. The edges are beat up on almost all of them. The hotstamp is a little bit better than most of the others so again, it's clear where the chip is from.

There are only two of the "Sparky's Bar & Grill" chips in the lot, both are well used.

One interesting fact... ALL of these chips were rated at least value "e" $15-$19 in Steve Goodrich's book prior to this find. I don't know what affect my chips will have on this as the condition of most of the chips is not what collectors are looking for, but as they were previously hard to find, they could perhaps fill some holes in collections until they can be upgraded so I am sure that Good condition chips will hold their value (except for the Grove $.50 which I am sure will be impacted the most).

Just wanted to let everyone know. I will be offering the chips to trade very reasonably for other Washington State chips.

Thanks!
