There are two different Sterling $25s. I already had the one with the blue inserts. I was told that the reason for the two different insert patterns was because when they first ordered chips, they had two art proofs and chose the blue inserts for the $25s. When they re-ordered some chips, they were sent the black and yellow inserts from the artwork they did not choose. It may be the other way around, and the blue inserts may of been the one they didn't approve, i don't remember but you get the picture. I got this info from Andy McGhee who knows alot of people in the day cruise industry here. Anyway, the black and yellow must of not been in use too long cus Ive been hunting this chip for a while. Even when the boat was still open, nobody seemed to either know about these chips or didn't know where they were. If it was a mixed up order then i guess its possible they were sent back.
Reason getting this chip is important to me is that my whole chip collection revolves around my relationship with my dad That may sound kinda weird but even though we got along very well, we didn't have much of anything in common except gambling. Some of the best times we had together was gambling and my collection reminds me of those times
Enough babbling, here be the chip.
