As you may know, Sam posted a month or so back about how many Las Vegas shows are running 50% off promotions, along with a generous offer to pick up tickets for anyone who might be visiting.

My parents are currently in Las Vegas for their 42nd anniversary (which was Monday), and I contacted Sam about getting them tickets to Mystere. My parents aren't the sort that would spring for such a luxury on their own, but I was sure that it was something they would enjoy. Sam generously picked up the tickets, dropped them off at my parent's hotel, and even called later on Monday to make sure they had received them, and wished them a happy anniversary! I spoke with my parents tonight, who gushed about how much they enjoyed the show, and how special it made their day.

Anyway, I just wanted to publicly thank Sam for his kind generosity, and for making my parent's anniversary so enjoyable and memorable. Just one more confirmation that this hobby rocks.
