chips (most often used for home gaming) will sell for $2 - $5 per chip. But that is a value for 1 or 2. In a quantity, they generally sell as a lot (of about 100) from between $20 - $40. If any of the chips are yellow (usually a mustard yellow) then they should hold the $5 each value, but again, not in a quantity. 25 red, 50 white and 25 blue were the standard colors in a box of 100 chips. Yellow was usually ordered separately, at an increased cost, so they are not all that common.

With regard to the box that holds them, it too can have a value, but a picture is needed. If you ahve a digital picture, it can be uploaded here, or sent to me and I'll post it for others to see.
