NO.....................Money is money....I live on a island that is full of people who are very wealthy...I am not. I work at a lumber company in the accounting department. People have credit at the lumber yard/hardware store and they pay the bill at the end of the month. About every 3 month or so someone comes in to pay their bill and pays with rolls of quarters. A couple of times the rolls of quarters happened to be 100 years old and solid silver. Making that roll of quarters worth a lot more than face value. Money can be a collectable. IF the person spending this money doesn't see and know the difference. Then it is only worth what they thought it was.

You could be "The Mr. Nice Guy" and let the kid know. But I don't think I would.

Maybe just hold onto the old bills and if the kids parents or guardians ever contact you tell them you still have them.

I just swapped the silver quarters with new ones. The person never came back and The company didn't know the difference.
