Re: Anyone know if Bally's AC
In Response To: Re: Anyone know if Bally's AC ()

What you are basically saying is the Harrah's group ( Showboat, Bally's, Caesar's and Harrah's ) Borgata and Revel.
The other properties IF they go under will just be bought by someone else and most likely stay operational

To be frank it also wouldn't come as a surprise if Revel sells the property either upon completion or before to cut probable losses. I think the nature of the economy and the entire casino pie in Atlantic City being cut into smaller slices would make operational costs prohibitive.

In my earlier post I mentioned a number of the properties and their financial outlook. What I left out was all the projects that never were and most likely will never be such as Pinnacle and MGM now looking to unload some of their real estate as well.

I hope that A/C as a gambling destination will survive but with the nature of the economy, outside competition close by and increasing and numerous other factors, it will be a long road.
Personally, I think that for survival properties need to concentrate more on non casino revenue and make their places more family oriented
