I thought I had this WW chip IDed and now I am not so sure. I listed the chip on ebay several years ago and I was contacted by a collector telling me that the chip was from Wild West and when I bought TGT, sure enough is lists two clubs, both in Groveland, California that used the Square in Circle mold WW chips. Wild West (no date listed) and also Lola's Cardroom (1971-1976) both used WW Square in Circle chips. I also have Armin Pfaender's 11th issue California Guide but there is no listing for either club. I have several questions. 1) Was Wild West before or after LOLA's? 2) Did one operator buy out the other in the same location? 3) Does anybody have any other color WW square in circle chips that could be from the same location?
