I am sorry for your loss. While Ron's name...
In Response To: Help! ()

is not familiar to me, it is always sad to hear of another collector passing away. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

With respect to the Crystal Park Casino chip, I regret also having to inform you that while they hold a collector value, it is no where near the denomination value of all four chips. The "Crystal Park Casino" close in 1997, and while the "New Crystal Park Casino" continues to operate, the older "Crystal Park Casino" chips are not valid at the follow-on casino. Most, if not all of the "Crystal Park Casino" chips (after it closed) became available to the chip collecting market, by the thousands, and while the higher denominations command a higher per chip value, we are still talking about $20 or so for the $1000 chip. Less for the $500 and perhaps in the 2 - 3 dollar range for either version of the $100 chips.

I can sense that this not what you wanted to hear, but I feel that it is fairly accurate. If not, then I am certain that another collector or two will correct me here shortly.

Again, I am sorry for your loss.

If you don't mind, I have a question. Would you know if your Late husband was a member of Casino Chip and Gaming Token Collectors Club, Inc.? Sometimes seen as: ccgtcc ? If so, we would like to know so that his name can be duly noted at our annual Convention this coming June.

Thank you and may he Rest in Peace.
