Let me see if I have this right...

I list a fairly scarce chip lets say that ususally sells for about $100 with a starting price of lets say $5. You send me the oh so familliar email message, "gee sir, I am trying to restore my grandfather's chip set and I will need a bunch of these chips. How many of these do you have to sell?" I get asked this question all the time and I just ignore it. Is this unethical or should I just tell the guy, "I have about 100 of this particular chip sir." I don't think so unless I have had a few to many... OH... does anybody need any Coos Bay chips? vbg
