It was once said that the sun never sets on The United Kingdom. The reason is because there are so many British territories and protectorates around the globe that the sun is always shining on one of them somewhere.

My question is what countries are/have been under the British? I am trying to make a list but cannot find a list. I am looking for all, both past and present..

Australia
Hong Kong
Jamaica
Etc….. (you get the idea)
