Yep, sure is. However....a couple of notes on this matter, and for all chips that come out and flood the market. Flooding the market can drop the values much lower then what a realist value should be. A crucial component is perception, just like like the economy. When a seller hides the number of chips he/she has, it makes matters much worse. We can only speculate (or fear) that there are thousands. In a situation like ours, it is really best for everyone to fully disclose the numbers. As buyers we just can't put a realistic value on chips when we don't have any idea of the numbers. This hobby is driven by numbers. A simple concept of supply and demand.

Are the 3rd issue Trop chips worth $30.00 in minty condition? Maybe yes, maybe no. 30.00 could very well be way undervalued. On the other hand, $30.00 could be overvalued. At this point, only time will tell, and we'll just have to wait to see how things shake out.

I commend James for making the notations in his book about the values, numbers coming out and the fact that sellers have not been forthcoming. By doing that, he has empowered us as buyers. As well, his theory of better to undervalue then to overvalue a chip with questionable quantities.

I truly hope that the sellers have an epiphany and now disclose the numbers. They might even be surprised that the selling prices go up.
