Rick, I suggest that you visit...
In Response To: Sedona or Lake Havasu City? ()

one of the many weather locations on the Internet. Take a look at the mean/average temperature for those locations. Sedona, while beautiful, I believe is higher up in elevation, hence cooler temperatures at that time of year. Casinos nearby, only Bucky's and that is NOT just around the corner. Sedona is more an artist colony than anything else, i.e., expect to pay more for ANYTHING!

Lake Havasu, again check the Internet, as I have not been there before.

Grand Canyon, FABULOUS, but it will be chilly to cold and is a pretty long drive and may require an over-night stay. Again, expect to pay for it!

If you want sunny days, you'll need to come all the way to Tucson. Two casinos nearby, several in and around Phoenix (2 hour drive). Tombstone is nearby. Many antique stores, but Smitty and I have cleaned them out (not really). Plenty of hotel accomodations, unless the Gem Show is in town! And while there are other Canadians here, you will probably fit in with all the other snowbirds here, most of which are from Chicago.
