Re: All my home gaming, sample sets are at...

orginally designed by lynbark designs, i believe ultimately they were made by palm imports - probably around 2 years ago. not sure of the numbers made but they were made for the crew of the USS Anzio to use while they were deployed for 7 months out at sea. the crew that was deployed at that time left the set with the ship for the next group of sailors to enjoy.

this took alot of effort from many different people.

here was a note we rcvd back from the crew after they rcvd the chips:

On that note, want to send a BIG THANK YOU to Mike and everyone that
helped for getting the ANZIO poker sets together for the Crew. We
received them just the other day. The sets and games are the talk of
the ship the last few days. I have people waking me up in my sleep
wandering when we are going to start the tournament. Believe I have
the perfect plan, with the help from a few of the guys on board (the
competitive players that normally show up at my place). We will end up
breaking it down into living quarters, the 1st and 2nd place will move
onto the final table. Then, from there the winner at the final table
will take the prize. Again you don't know how much the crew is looking
forward to this. There are people on here, (that I have sometimes
wandered if they even knew what a deck of cards look like), asking to
be involved and help out. Thanks again to all, for taking the time out
and putting these together for us. Our internet capabilities are down att,
but once restored there will be a lot of people coming across the forum
window throwing in a few thanks. I will be sending emails out to the
companies and people involved. Thanks again Mike for heading that
up!!!
