Hey Dan... are you a long time fan of the Terps? I used to live in Maryland in the 60's- mid 70's and loved the Terps. Went to a ton of b-ball games during the Lefty, McMillen, Lucus, Bozo, Elmore era. Back in the days when you could hold the ball for the whole 40 minutes if you could get away with it, ha! The ACC was great back then....just to bad UCLA was better! As for football, I remember every single year...no matter how good the Terps were...PENN STATE ALWAYS beat them! ACC football sucked back then but no matter what Penn State always runined our season!

PS- I used to live in Waldorf MD. Then got married and moved to Woodbridge VA. Before we moved to MD, I lived in Falls Church. What was that movie about the first black football coach in Alexandria?? When you watch it, the team he beats for the Championship is Marshall High...I was a freshman there. You'd get 10,000 for those high school football games! We would cheer the whole game...it was a blast back then. Then we move to Waldorf and it was all tobacco farmers and lame sprots teams.
