lower end SLR camera and love it. There are many to chose from under $700k. I narrowed it down to a Nikon D60 or a Cannon (can't remember the model, but price was comparable). I selected the Nikon 60 based on feel, size/weight of the body, and the response of the auto-focus. I didn't really care about the "Live View" which the Cannon has, but the Nikon did not. The Nikon kit included a 18-55 Auto-Focus, Image Stabilization lense. I think someone mentioned it is on sale at Best Buy.
