"Hollywood" dice, very old acetate...

This pair of dice is so old and deteriorated, I could not tell what the original color was. The edges/corners are crumbling and the interior is full of fracture lines. Unless these were subjected to an accelerated aging process, I would guess that they are from the 50's. What I found of interest is the name hot-stamped on the 2-spot sides. In script, it is "Hollywood". (In the image shown, you might be able to make out the name, as it appears from the lower left corner to the upper right corner on both die.

I did not ask to have the display case opened, as I could not imagine a closer picture being any clearer, given the deterioration. Besides, I was afraid to touch them. (Lovely to look at, beautiful to hold, but if you braek it.....! vbg )

So, my question is, if these are really old, then what "Hollywood" could they have been named for?

Thanks for looking!

Jim
