Well, she has always lived her life "by the book"... and I mean "BY THE BOOK"! We are almost complete opposites but she has mellowed out somewhat. If I go, I'll stay in her guest house until everyone gets used to eachother...esp. the kids. They are all adopted and never had a dad much less a mom and she has never been married, so it's like a culture shock to them. I'm more worried about her than the kids...they will be fine. Anyway, she remodeled the guest house from top to bottom and just had the roof replaced with tile and that's the last thing she had to do. She is taking the final inspection to City Hall today and then it's all up to me if I go or not.
But yes, I have been milling around the board again...and buying chips again. I really need to start trading or selling off some of the chips I've gotten in the past because I realize now, that they aren't what I want to collect. You remember the beautifull St Johns Cuban chip I bought last year???? I lost the dang thing...no idea where it is and it's very possible I threw it away with some papers. I love the Cuban chips and losing that one hurts!
How is the economey up there? Several closings around here. Lucky for me, if I stay here, I'll always have a job...! You'll always have drinkers that hang out in bars and play the juke and pool. Plus we have the U of Floridas games rooms, so that's always easy money. But even our bizz is down at least 30% from last year. More people are buying booze from stores and are drinking at home rather going out at night. And the ones who still go out on the town, only go once or twice a month now! If I go to Calif... she is giving me her groomers to run... are you kidding me????? She would fire me in a day if I ever worked for her...ha!
Send some snow down here please..I miss it!
