This board is a wealth of information, once you learn how to navigate past (or through) the political, squabble and sports posts! 
My husband and I collect darn near anything with a NV casino name or logo...including chips. There's two great books for NV chips. Ask Santa for the book by James Campiglia and Steve Wells..."The Official U.S. Casino Chip Price Guide". The fourth edition is being released very soon...do a search of the chipboard for posts by James, and you'll find the info. Lots and lots of great pictures and info in the book! (Approximately 3/4 of the third edition is NV, the rest of the book has chips from NJ, LA, CO, IN, IL, SD...)
The other book for NV chips is The Chip Rack. The last Chip Rack was issued a few years ago. Last year the original authors sold TCR rights to some other club members, and it is being updated right now. As I understand, plans are to release the new edition around May or June next year.
The books are very different from each other, and both are valuable resources for the hobby. If you're a club member, you should be able to get both books from the club library...teasers until you can get your own, current, copies!
