A worn Vintage chips look weird cleaned
Doesnt look right to me, It erases the history on it and I think an old Arrowdie looks better dirty but thats my take on it. I figure you can always clean it but I can't add the the history BACK into to it! Now on the other hand I might clean say a 1.00 San Remo chip that is S/U or better because its a white chip that takes on a lot of dirt fast but that isnt very often that I do that. An old Binions horseshoe chip looks better when the dirt brings out the horseshoe mold. If I were at the convention and two dealers had the same chip in really similar shape and same price then I would purchase the dirty chip.
I am with you on the toilet seat, cheap to buy.
