When we were having our political "debates" I think I might have even mentioned it.
Being a Republican I would have gladly voted for Colin Powell given the choice. I would have done so simply because I thought he would have been the better choice.

Truly, I can not blame people of color voting for Obama. What is unfortunate is that in many cases many of them were totally oblivious to the issues.
On the other hand, that worked in reverse also.

Now that Obama will be the new President I support him. I'm in hopes that being the first black president that part of his thinking will be to leave a legacy and to do his best to turn this country around
