Hi Everyone.
The latest: The speaking value was put in & she was able to
keep it there for just over a hour which is the goal of the nurse.
It's important to learn to use in as it strengthens the vocal cords
and will allow use of the throat when she can get real food.
Next she was hoisted out of her bed & placed in a hospital chair
which is used to get her more upright. She was in it for an hour
also. This is necessary to retrain her muscles etc.
The Heart doctor came in & said the bypass surgery appears
sucessful as her heart is getting stronger each day.
She is quite tried & sleeping & I came home from the hospital
to post this. I want to thank everyone for their concern and we will
take Everything day by day. Keep those prayers coming!! They are a
great help. Headed by shortly to the hospital
