In 1992 my late wife (for 32 years) discovered you could bet on football in Vegas. Now, she hated football, but did not complain when I spent Sunday watching it. After asking me how to bet on it and studying the process awhile she placed a few bets and came out slightly ahead. In 1993 she started studying the teams during preseason. She would spend 20 to 30 hours a week doing this and watch all the games. We would figure our bets and I would drive to Vegas Saturday morning. I would place the bets ( at the great old Stardust ) play a little black jack and return home. We would spend Sunday TOGETHER watching football. On these trips I would sometimes stick a few chips in my pocket and play them the next week. One Sunday I pulled the chips out of my pocket and actualy looked at them, the rest is history. We spent 3 wonderful football seasons together watching football and collecting chips till she passed away in 1995. When I look at my chips I remember those many hours together. That is why I love this hobby. So, if you get a chip from me and there is a tear stain on it you will know why. Enjoy this hobby but even more, ENJOY the ones you love.
