I heard or read some place where the criteria is extra hard to get into Notre Dame so they can't recruit that many great players. And that means the coaches have to make the ones they get, buy into the program that much more. Tough being a Notre Dame coach that's for sure. You guys are kinda like Penn State...lose one game and your season is over ranking and Championship Game wise! As for Florida being young etc. Charlie Strong is the answer to the defence. When a player comes to Florida, they know from the get go that he is a hard nosed win or go home kinda guy! Any coach that makes the team do 184 push-ups, curls, sit-ups etc. everyday..1 for each yard Moreno gainned on them last year...is a no non-sence kinda guy! I'm surprized every year that he doesn't go to the NFL. You see Meyers took out Tebow in the 3rd quarter?Why? Cuz he knows he has a 8-1 team and not a 6-3 team. Heck with Tebow stats...he has a winning team now!! Pressures off this year!
