Re: Yes, when times are good the Oil companies mak

When times are bad, they make very little money and lay millions of people off.

What part of that did you not understand?

I guess there are a few things that confuse me. Times are bad but Bush's trickle down economics should have prevented that. The oil companies are making record profits and Bush's trickle down should work extremely well in this area yet you say, "for starters our company will have to lay off hundreds of engineers and designers that are no longer needed. so what's a few hundred people? Well since the plants wont be designed they wont need construction teams that total nearly 4,000 pipefitters, ironworkers, carpenters, electricians, ect, ect, ect."

Excuse No. #1 "Ya got me Norm, its Exxon Mobil's fault that the economy is where it is. They are the ones that forced people without jobs to get mortgages with no money down."

Excuse No #2. "If you want to point fingers, how about looking at the Clinton administration pushing Fanny and Freddie to give home loans to people they knew could not afford it."

Excuses are for failures. You shouldn't blame a previous admininstration for Bush's failed policies.
