I think the main complaint of the AC casinos is...
In Response To: Smoking/Gambling ()

...it is not a level playing field.

Indian run casinos (Mohegan Sun & Foxwoods here in CT for example) do not have abide by these laws and do allow smoking in the casino. (They also provide non-smoking casinos for those that wish to avoid the smoke.) I am sure there is a concern that there are some gamblers that may make their casino choice based on the ability or inability to smoke.

Thaat being said, I don't think that these smokers are in numbers enough to turn AC's troubles around. The employee's health should be the highest priority, and the ban reinstated.
