Very true... especially #14 and #16

#14 I always helped my grandfather make the wine each year; from going to the market w/ him to pick out the crates of grapes (to be delivered by a neighbor w/ a truck who also had delivered to 3 or 4 other neighbors with marked crates). The press was community property as well (everyone had to wait their turn to use it), but the crusher, everyone had their own.

#16 Though fish (every thing you can think of) was had before midnight; it was after midnight when all the meat dishes came out. Again, every thing you could think of.

...and then there were those who went to midnight mass and missed the good part, only to have the scraps when they returned a couple hours later. There's nothing wrong w/ church the next morning... vbg

I watched the Sopranos one or two times... That's not what Italian families were all about.
