I have had my fill of some of the junk that has been posted here lately, and I can't wait for the election cycle to be over. I tried my best to keep out of the fray, but a core group of folks who I will not single out are getting under my skin, hence, when I see the same people consistently posting half truths and overstated opinions, or "copy and pasting" propaganda and passing it off as truth, I am going to question it.

And BTW, I stand by what I said. If it insults you, so be it, i can't control how you feel, but if that is all it takes, you need thicker skin. If you believe in Obama being "Change you can count on", you are not paying attention, and I question your intellect. You need a bit more than a sharp smile and a slogan to convince me. Show me. Until someone can rationally explain just exactly what this "change" is/has been, I'm not buying it, and I think that those who do are suckers. JMHO, and i am entitled to it. If you want to smile and believe, that is your right too.

And while I am on the subject, the only poll that matters at all takes place on November 4. I saw the Dems touting polls showing them to be ahead in 2000 and 2004. The media touted exit polls in 2004 that had guys like Kennedy giddy with victory glee.......right up until the Democrats lost the election 6 hours later. The press has all but called the Election already, despite almost every major poll showing the race to be tightening. Why is that? Wishful thinking, methinks. If half the country disagrees on November 4th, I'll gladly admit the polls were right. History tells me to be wary.
