Best of luck staying away from the butts! I was scheduled to have a kidney removed in 1996 and , at the time , was a 2-3 pack a day smoker. After my surgery and several days after, I had no desire to smoke , as I was in too much pain to even think about it. I had wanted to quit and figured that was my chance and time to quit.
