I had a similiar situation a year or two ago. My managing real estate broker asked to borrow several thousand dollars for a week. I was happy to give it to her and got paid back on time but a few months later she asked again and I was in the middle of working on a rehab house and just didn't have the ready cash. Since then she has closed the business, almost lost the building and I think that her house is in foreclosure. While I was happy to help her the first time something just didn't sound right the next time. I am sorry for the situation that she is in but I am glad that I am not in the middle of it.
