These are now obsolete. At the time that they were first made, the casino only had 6 machines that could accept this denomination. Since then, the Tohono Oodham Nation has opened a second gaming facility in Tucson and while there are more than 6, $5 slot machines, they are part of the more flexible, multi-denomination machines, using TITOs.

NOTE: With the advent of TITO (EZ Pay) (ticket systems) it seems that slot machine tokens are a thing of the past. While $1 tokens are fairly plentiful, the higher denominations are not seen as often. Now, I don't have a great number of these, but what few $5 slot machine tokens I do have, I thought that others might be interested in seeing them, so I will be trying to post one daily (as a "$5 Slot Machine Token of the Day" series) until I run out of examples.
