I would bet that Steve would change his mind on the first point if a black, consevative candidate ran. Personally I would vote for Condi Rice in a heartbeat.

I think point number two has to do with the fact that most black candidates are just way too liberal for conservative or many moderates.

Third point is one person's opinion, which I don't agree with.

BTW, it is a bit irksome that voting for a candidate that you identify with is all well and good if you are a black, but is racist if you are white.
