Re: This was always a puzzler, to me...

Fuller has the Lucky Strike Club,at 117 Fremont, 1952 to 2-4-69; licensed for slots, 21, craps, roulette, keno and bingo. Bingo was prominently advertised on their marquee, the ashtrays & matches advertise bingo and slot machines. Can't find mention of other games.

Next puzzle...Fuller has the Frontier Club at the same address from 5-11-35 to 1963. Lucky Strike Club opening in 1952, but Frontier not closing until 1963??

And then...There's the Lucky Casino at the same address. Fuller has that one in operation 1-2-63 to 1967.

When I researched the article on the downtown casinos, I used phone books, postcards, websites, anything & everything I could find to solve date discrepencies. My best guess-timate for the casinos at 117 Fremont was:
Frontier Club 1935-1953
Frontier Turf Club (inside Frontier Club) 1943-1953
Lucky Strike Club 1954-1963
Lucky Casino 1963-1967

Now THAT was waaaay more than you asked for! rofl
