Here in Las Vegas in the early '80's, the best bar table player in Las Vegas (Iron Mike) was playing a guy who had a ton of money. After playing for hours & beating the guy out of a few thousand, the guy quit. He said that he would only play again if Mike put a patch over his left eye when they played. After saying he never played that way before & saying he was not sure he could give the guy that spot, Mike agreed to it. Mike beat the guy out of a couple more thousand. The spot did not really mean very much, Mike has been blind in his left eye since he was a kid.
